    Why do you use hexbear as your instance? I heard it was pretty right leaning, is that true?

      Hexbear is a leftist instance. People interpret any criticism of Democrats as coming from the right instead of the left.

      Also, Hexbear refers to both Dems and Republicans as liberals. In the US, “liberal” usually only refers to social liberalism. The definition of liberalism elsewhere in the world includes liberal conservatism.
