This is only the tip of the iceberg of their arrogance, tbh. They’re always like this, usually even worse. Oh well, it’s okay, it doesn’t bother me - in fact, I’ve always found it amusing to see someone be so arrogant and yet so blatantly wrong lol.

Also notice how neoliberal debate tactics are always deceptive and underhanded - usually relying on the changing of definitions and moving of goalposts. Sometimes they’ll even go out of their way to change the definition of capitalism itself just to fit their narrative, which is always pretty funny to see xD .

I literally know people who do this in real life and they were quite shocked when I bit their heads of during a “debate”.

You know the sort of angloid radical centrist dickheads who love to debate others rights and issues?

They tried denying the UK was capitalist because of benefits and I just snapped and ripped their heads off over their fucking stupidity.

Another corker “well the nazis had socialist economic policy” made me snap at them. I’ve ran out of patience for dickheads with absolutely no understanding of topics their egos make them think they are in a position to discuss.

If you don’t know a subject how about you stfu and listen instead of pissing everyone around you off?

Arrghhh I hate these people so much. I wish I found it amusing but it’s just insufferable for me currently. Here’s hoping I can mellow out hahaha.

Given the arrogance and priviledge of these individuals I sadly doubt it. The only take away they probably took from it is “When did Ratto become so crazy tankie sjw, they don’t know anything” which while rage inducing has also made these people stfu about politics around me out of fear I’ll mic drop them again so that’s at least a small win for me.

This is monkey logic. Putin weakens big bad international neolibs so Putin can not a neolib. Putin is now put in a hole, his only way out is being a protectionist in domestic economy, aligning with otherised global countries. In friendly environment he can do what ever he want. Because the circumstances allows him. Now he can not. That does not mean his entire economic outlook changed.

The response of the Russian government to the unprecedented sanctions warfare has been largely a liberal one, applying only minor state intervention with capital controls and otherwise relying on the market to fix itself and find import substitutions.

This plus the fact that Putin appointed Nabiullina, one of the most liberal people in top economic circles in Russia, yet again as head of the central bank shows that he still fundamentally believes in liberal economics. There are other factions in Russia who would have liked to see vastly more state intervention, nationalization, huge amounts of state directed investment a la China to kickstart major economic construction the likes of which Russia hasn’t seen since Soviet times, as outlined by economists like Glazyev.

If Putin had really “reformed” and abandoned his liberal ways he would have appointed Glazyev not Nabiullina to head the CB. Essentially these people who deny that Russia is still run by liberals have no idea what they are talking about. Putin left to his own devices never would have cracked down on the various pro-western fifth columnists and oligarchs the way that needed to be done. But the West did it for him by sanctioning various oligarchs opposed to Putin, and making the rest of the Russian elites and most of the population close ranks around their government when they saw how bad the West’s russophobia is.

Have you ever tried reading about geopolitics

It’s not like geopolitics is a readily accessible topic. Even more so if you want to avoid reading it from sources that are think tanks funded by American weapons manufacturers.

Yes, when “globalization” means “a couple evil fucker countries bullying the rest of the world” I am against globalization.

When “international cooperation” means “do what we say or we will kill you bad,” I am against international cooperation.

Also LOL at this dipshit not knowing how many times Russia has tried to join NATO. This removed has absolutely no reason to be talking so smug.

Mfs on Reddit will be so smug and condescending even when they have zero fucking idea what they’re talking about, and the radlibs in subs like that one couldn’t be more exemplary of it.
