I’ve actually been having not great performance on lemmy but maybe it’s just the CDN as I’m from Thailand and the routing to some countries here is godawful.
Yeah the server is in Europe (Lithuania), so the physical distance is pretty big. Not much we can do about that, CDN is not really an option for various reasons. But once federation is working, you could switch to an instance that’s closer to you.
