I’d say hugs too, something about being close to someone, being compressed, and squeezing back is so relaxing and comforting. It’s like you acknowledge one another and communicate that you are there in that moment only for each other, nothing else is going on.
You know the feel when you go home for a few hours by bus, in winter, it’s dark around, the stove is buzzing nearby and you find a comfortable place for your head and fall asleep to quiet music or shaking, knowing that you have to go for another two or three hours.
That’s the feeling.
