Even in the USA I really never see anyone defending the Vietnam war. I barely see anyone defend Iraq or Afghanistan, either. Yet these same people think we should get involved with Russia 🤔

Whats sad is that it works very well, and not only on Americans. A lot of people in my country call themselves “Americanized”. Which I personally take to mean “I have an IQ of 50”, which is very accurate.
What country do you live in? It’s hard for me to imagine people wanting to be more like your average American.
Lebanon. It’s more common in certain Chrisitian areas.
I suppose it is different IRL, but I’ve seen plenty of people defend it online. Claiming US won, too. Or, at least, “has accomplished the objective”.
