Agree. Reddit is horrible (twitter screenshots even worse)… I would rather have less content than this garbage. I came to lemmy because reddit is annoying. We should promote the culture of lemmy and not mirror the decadence of reddit. Quality over quantity!

We’ve been talking about it internally and hope to have a solution soon. At this time though i don’t think we know what kind of solution we want, especially if we want to keep this from happening again (it’s happened in the past before too)

I plan to introduce more people to Lemmygrad soon. I would honestly suggest shutting it down, if you can. I do feel that it obscures other posts that one might want to make.

We can control it indirectly, in the sense that it’s a bot maintained and ran by someone else who is not in the admin team. We’re still talking about it with the admin team and hope to have a solution that will please everyone soon.
Please tone it down. I appreciate critical discussion and a wide perspective of views and this sub subverts the best parts of Lemmy.
