    Took me a little while getting used too, not super polished, but it’s a pretty okay cad program and your not dealing with a limited license or janky cloud storage. I’ve mostly used solidworks Gibbs cam and cimatron at work. I think it’s closer to cimatron if that’s the layout you’re used to

    I use FreeCAD from time to time and it’s impressive how they got it from crashing all the time to crashing most of the time in recent years, just like a professional CAD :D

    I guess OpenSCAD is the FOSS parametric CAD that get’s you more street-cred but I don’t need it often enough that I would care to re-learn it each time.

      FreeCAD aids in computer 3D design like creating parts as 3D. Blender is used for animation I guess. I’ve used FreeCAD. It’s best wrt free software’s CAD. Never used Blender.
