Personally I’ve been trying out a bunch of iOS apps, but have been spending the most time on Memmy.
Wefwef has been easing my Apollo withdrawals.
Saaaaaame. It feels so familiar
Me too, me too! I’m beta testing Mlem , lift off and thunder and so far wefwef has an edge. UI is growing in me much quicker than the name has!
I second this!
wefwef.app as PWA
Same here–wefwef is amazingly solid for such an early product.
If Sync for Lemmy gets off the ground and is anywhere near as good as the Reddit version, I’ll probably switch to that since it was easily my most used Android app before Reddit lost its mind.
Does the PWA shortcut auto-updates or to use a new version I have to delete the shortcut and create it again?
There’s a settings tab with a “Check for updates” section that will automatically notify you of new versions, and then you can update without recreating the widget.
Got it. Thanks! :)
No problem! I’ve found wefwef to be very similar to Apollo so far. I have issues loading posts and comments some times, but I’m pretty sure it’s just lemmy.world having overloaded server issues with all the new migrators from Reddit.

Yes, just click the update button under settings.
Coming from Apollo, I have personally been enjoying wefwef.
Same. The transition has been seamless with the UI. Very familiar.
I tried mlem, memmy, and wefwef.
Mlem is missing quite some features at this point. Wefwef is browser only.
So I’ve been using memmy for the most part. It’s good.
Currently Jerboa, but once Boost for Lemmy launches I’ll switch to that
Connect for Lemmy on Android. Reminds me pretty much of RIF.
Thanks for the hint. Used Sync before and Connect is similar to it. 👍
Yeah, I’m using Connect for now because it feels really similar to Sync, at least until Sync for Lemmy comes out. Just wish it had gestures 😔
EDIT: Welp I just found out Connect sucks, guess I’m using Jerboa now lmao https://lemmy.world/post/953025
Same. It’s pretty decent.
I’m using connect. Only gripe so far is there’s no apparent “hide post” button
Also I’m not sure if “block user” is the same as Sync’s “filter user” or something else
Seconded, for the same reason.
Mostly Memmy and Mlem. They’re on different development cycles, memmy has been releasing updates about every day while Mlem has been releasing updates maybe once a week. Both are solid given the maturity of Lemmy.
Boost for Lemmy is coming - You can register your interest on the Play Store.
Jerboa
I’m on wefwef.app now. I tried Jerboa first and then Connect for Lemmy. I liked Connect more than Jerboa but wefwef was most like my Infinity setup.
Same for me. Started with Jerboa then went to Connect, then WefWef. I still go back and forth between the last two, but I’m starting to use WefWef more.
Coming from RIF this I want personal ranking:
-
wefweb.app. Very clean design, works well and smooth experience. Overall the best implementation so far.
-
Connect/Lift (tied). Both are solid, I prefer connect sidebar and options but I prefer the design of the posts and comments on Lift. When the comments stack in Connect it looks awful IMO.
-
Jerboa. As a first option it was good but after so many timeouts, other design issues and multiple errors I kinda gave up on the app. After its polished I’ll give it another try.
This would be my ranking and assessment as well. The only thing hampering Wefwef, for me right now at least, is that all saving/bookmarking is broken at the moment. I’m sure it’ll get fixed, but that’s kinda a big deal. Other than that, it’s great!

I’m currently using Connect on Android, because it feels the most similar to Sync – which is what I’ll be using, as soon as it is released for Lemmy.
I’m trying out Jerboa, Liftoff, Lemmotif, Wefwef, & Connect to see which I like best on Android. It was recently announced that my favorite reddit app Boost is coming out with a Lemmy version soon, so I’m looking forward to that.
I’m on Android and I’m currently using Connect for Lemmy. Seems good for now. Previously used Jerboa but for some reason I had issues with scrolling and connecting.
Started with wefwef, but it often lags when I try to type a comment or navigate back, so I installed multiple apps for Lemmy until I settled in with Connect, since it felt neat and optimised.
