I’m on lemmy.ml because my application was ignored (or not accepted, I don’t know) by the smaller instances I’ve applied to.
I’m currently using Connect on Android, because it feels the most similar to Sync – which is what I’ll be using, as soon as it is released for Lemmy.
That’s the only part of this debate I struggle with. Fahrenheit just makes more sense to me. 100 is fucking hot, and 0 is fucking cold. I can easily remember the boiling and freezing points of water. I would much rather have a scale based on the weather we generally experience.
Stupid as it may be, I’m holding onto Sync for a few more days for sentimental reasons.
That’s why I’m here, specifically. I had vacillated between Lemmy and Squabbles until I saw Sync was coming here.
Psst… This is in AskLemmy.
That’s called a “vacation.” Unfortunately, those generally come with other activities…
Because, if we were vastly different species, I doubt we could procreate. Plus, I think she’d have had a hard time hiding it over 13 years of marriage.
Sync going away – and now coming here, yay! If they’re giving their users the finger, and there’s a reasonable alternative, why would I stay? I was mainly there for the communities related to my interests (their size, not their mere existence), and those are present here and elsewhere in a growing capacity.
I did like AskReddit, though, and I’m not sure if Lemmy will ever get anything like that…
I need to give it another go. I love other games of that sort, but something about Kenshi put me off the first time.
I want that so badly, but I couldn’t manage Absolute Radiance – one of very few times I’ve actually given up on a boss. I should probably give it another go, one of these days.
Snorlax. He’s just so relatable.
That’s a surprisingly difficult question. Everyone has different interests, so it’s hard to make a catch-all recommendation.
With that being said, I’ll go with Chrono Trigger. It’s a true classic with interesting characters, a solid enough story (that doesn’t outstay its welcome), easily approachable gameplay, and an amazing soundtrack. It easily ranks among my favorite games of all time.
Even if you’re not sure, you may be able to infer as much from the behavior of others.
You really need to be able to hide certain things from your library, recent activity, achievements, etc., for anyone but yourself.
I would never recommend putting yourself at risk, but ghosting the person after lying that you’d like to see them again is just a dick move.
