What do you wish was better about the current way you browse Lemmy, and what features do you hope to have down the road?
How do you imagine that would work? Federation is what enables you to interact with anything on other instances in the first place.
Or do you just mean “add all communities on a remote instance to the list of communities you can search for locally at once”?
Honestly I have no idea, I’ve only been using lemmy for a couple days. I have an account at lemmy.ml. But if lemmy doesn’t federate with instanceX or instanceY, then I have to sign up at those instances as well, which I think is kinda against what lemmy is about. Or go through and manually add all the communities from those instances (and if a new community on that instance pops up I won’t be subscribed.)
