I posted this question because I once saw a tweet that said something like:
“If you use adblock, you don’t care about creator’s point blank”
What is your opinion on this? Do you agree with them?

Yes, and I’d recommend everyone else do so as well.
Nowadays, the main purpose of ads online is to track you and collect data about you and what you do. They’re a privacy nightmare.
Even besides that, so much ads now just contain malware and scams and other garbage. Its how I’ve seen most people get malware, especially more tech illiterate people.
I can sympathize with creators to some extent, but at the end of the day, its their problem. I have no problem supporting creators financially for them to make a living, but they need to find more moral and less scummy ways to do so. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with blocking ads and not dealing with this nonsense, don’t let anyone guilt trip or gaslight you into thinking otherwise or that this current approach to online advertising and surveillance capitalism is okay at all.
I’m not even entirely against the concept of advertising online, I think if it doesn’t track you and its well moderated and not obnoxious or spammy, it can be fine. But unfortunately 99.9% of ads aren’t like this at all.
I’d recommend reading this note from the creator of uBlock Origin as well on their GitHub page.
