Interesting, I didn’t know that could happen. The way federation works right now is that an instance only catches up to so many federated actions at once. Since you’re on lemmygrad.ml and trying to subscribe to a community on another instance, and there’s so many new users on the fediverse right now, it takes a while to go through the queue and validate your subscription. At least that’s what I think is happening.
Are you using the android app perhaps? Try relaunching after subbing to a community. Most of the times the subscription sticks
I am not. I tried desktop, app and I only use web mobile and desktop web now. It’s been days and they are still pending. 😢
It’s a big, it means you’re actually subscribed. Don’t worry about it!
It happened to me too but I found out that usually if I comment it changes to subscribed
