I personally am hoping for r/Networking to migrate since I did browse Reddit a lot for actual work in addition to killing time.

    Definitely a lot of the technical communities, but I’m also hoping that a baseball and/or basketball community starts growing here; sports discourse on the Lemmy fediverse is still a bit slow.

    We need the gun communities to make the jump. Reddit already got shady with stuff that’s legal in the US but somehow banned (reloading components, selling firearms through FFLs). It would be great to have c/gundeals be huge since Gunnection failed and gun.deals is almost useless.

    Similarly, we need good spaces for those who identify as female that can be aggressively moderated to keep out pervs and creeps. Reddit failed there quite often.
