  • It’s still tough to meet new people my age- I graduated from college before the pandemic started, and I used the pandemic as an excuse to keep myself indoors and introverted. I’m definitely struggling, because while I’m not the most social person, I still crave some sort of social interaction with people in person but just have no sense of how to go about it.



















  • I think email is worth paying for, to avoid Google or whatever other provider from scanning all of your emails. I don’t have anything interesting in my email, but I’d still like the peace of mind of knowing that my email provider isn’t reading every line of my messages.

    Otherwise, with journalists moving to new platforms like Substack, good quality news/journalism on the internet is getting a bit expensive, but with the way online platforms work, paying a small amount every month seems like the only way to keep good journalism alive these days.

    I’m not sure I’d pay for Reddit, but I would pay a small monthly fee to keep my favorite third party Reddit app alive, because that browsing experience is just so much better than new Reddit or the first party app.
