My username comes from people who, for what ever reason discourage my opinions…I would hear, “stopit, stopit”…keep repeating anytime I would voice a non-popular opinion or do something that shouldn’t effect anyone other than myself…rather than hate it, I decided to reclaim it (like many of my peers do with removed), so I decided to use “stopit” for my username…surprisingly on other sites, it has been already taken :( so much for this old man being original…but I tried and I am “stopit” here. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

****This is an edit…I referenced a derogatory name towards gay people in my post…I am gay, an don’t think I used the f word inappropriately, but it got removed, right away (without anyone looking at context). I am not sure how I feel about that right now…but overall I do appreciate this site.
