There are some games that aren’t working on my phone and I wanted to try playing them in Waydroid on my computer running Ubuntu, however, there is a problem. Some of them are games that I’ve paid for but Google is refusing to allow me access to the Google play store from within Waydroid. So the only way (as far as I can tell) would be to use a third party client, like Aurora Store, to download them but I don’t want to risk it if I can get banned.

Have you tried this: https://docs.waydro.id/faq/google-play-certification ? Gapps on Waydroid can be finicky but the Play Store should work for downloading purchased apps.

I don’t think anyone knows the specific metric for accounts being banned after being used with Aurora Store, but I’d say it’s risky enough that you should try to get the Play Store working on Waydroid.

Ok, it seems to be working now. Thanks for the help.

I tried that but I think I have to wait longer because I still don’t have access to the Google Play Store yet.

I figured as much, I don’t understand why Google would ban paying customers but then again, I don’t understand most of the decisions that Google makes.

Luckly, I was able to get the Google Play Store to work, so it’s not really a problem now.
