I grew up with $20 walmart blenders, and hated anything that required a blender.
Recently bought a ninja and there is no going back. I’ll never use a crappy blender again.

America’s Test Kitchen also ranked Mercer highly, but dinged it for a handle that gets slick when wet or greasy. For the Dexter-Russell knife they tested, it was very dull.
