            US is an empire that’s collapsing, but I guess it takes time for some people to start engaging with reality.

                  Rome took over a century to decline out of a superpower position. Not saying that the US will follow the same path, but to call them not a superpower right now, is some serious brain rot. Who does china and russia compare themselves to when it comes to military might? Who do they complain the most about?

                    No, saying US isn’t a global hegemon right now is just a straw man you keep using. What’s actually being said is that US global power is collapsing as we speak. Meanwhile, rate of communication today is orders of magnitude faster than it was in times of Rome and that translates into events happening at a far faster rate than they did in ancient times.

                    US has eroded its industrial base, the standard of living in US is collapsing, there’s increasing internal conflict, and the political system is becoming increasingly unstable. Anybody who has even a modicum of historical knowledge knows what happens to empires that find themselves in the place US is at now.
