If I can get enough of these idle things, I want to one day create a website where you answer a few basic questions about your OS/Hardware and it suggests which of these you can do based in tiers (i.e. how easy it is to set up, how big of an impact you have).

What are some other ones I could add?

you could donate 100+ USD by mining eth if you have a capable GPU. You could enable telemetry with trusted projects like kde, gnome, debian, element, etc.

Instead than mining you could contribute to science and run boinc. You can also get gridcoin from it but it’s not necesary.

Get the grid coin and donate it to something like Calyx OS or New Pipe. many decentralized computing tokens to do real work like GLM SONM RNDR IEXEC ETC

Side note in that regard, to those that are into crypto and want to help in that way, the meme coin BANANO also has its way of being “mined” by helping medical projects through folding@home, which is really nice, even though it doesn’t pay too much
