Yeah definitely, but as far as I know there’s nothing that comes as close to facebook as mastodon/lemmy, despite being still very different from facebook
It really is underrated, but what can you do? It feels somewhat limited, but what it can do is actually impressive given that uses mainly XMPP. (Although it does it’s weird stuff on the side too…)

I think Mastodon’s still what comes closer to a Facebook experience, with Lemmy being a good replacement to Facebook public groups
I see Mastodon as more a twitter replacement and Lemmy to reddit.
