What is the best most effective way to delete my Reddit post history and account.

I have seen people mention programs that they use to go through and delete their entire Reddit history, or edit their posts and replacing the content with a single word, and then deleting their account.

I do not use it like I used to, so I would like to get rid of every digital fingerprint that I can on the site.

Any help or advice would be appreciated!

I used https://redact.dev/ which handled most of my social media & messaging apps. I helped them troubleshoot ancient skype messages, and they got it working.

That looks really nice. It looks quite thorough as it handles many different services, though I am disappointed it’s not open source.

I know that I had seen some open source programs or scripts that people used in the past. I believe when I checked them out they were hosted on GitHub, but I have long forgotten what they were.

Regardless it looks like this program will absolutely do the job, but I’m going to hold out for a few days and see if there any other suggestions.

      Thanks for the help!

Agreed on open source. If you come across a good one please link
