    EU breaking up by next year is a very real possibility. As food and energy crunches hit, we’ll see increasing animosity between EU states. Meanwhile, the economic value of the union is becoming increasingly questionable to its members.

      Place to watch i think is Hungary. While Orban and his government are protofash not unlike polish PiS, they don’t share the unconditionally reflexive russophobia of Poland, they have less to lose from exiting, and they already told EU to stuff it to the worst stupidity.

        Yeah, I completely agree with that, and once the economic reality sets in I expect more countries to follow because people aren’t going to be willing to starve to keep a lost cause going. Meanwhile, Germany looks to be abandoning any pretense at democracy now.

          Yeah i seen that. Curiously enough, comments range from absolutely based to straight up open holocaust praise(!!!), but there is almost no one who would praise her.

        The sole EU is responsible for it’s breaking up. Why put responsibility of that to the others?
