Since I’m going to finish Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous (in probably about 10 hours given how long it takes to beat it) I’m currently looking for another game to play. Maybe Gamedec? Or maybe something other than a CRPG? We’ll see. I’ll check on suggestions that you all have down below.

Discussion questions:

  1. Who are your favorite game developers in terms of favorite video games? (Nintendo, Sony, etc.)

  2. How did you first get into video games?

My answers:

Overall, I’d have to say Nintendo and Owlcat Games (though that last one is more current). In terms of how I first got into video games? The Nintendo 64 was a godsend in that regard. I played the Star Wars pod-racing game first and then, from there, I played a few other classic games like Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Never quite liked Super Mario 64 though as much as some other people. Me, personally, anyway.

Also, shameless plug-in for a Discord server that me, BayArea415, and some good friends created:

Enjoy!

Star wars podracing was such a sick game, I had it on PC though.

https://youtu.be/xoUF7h-EpzE that still makes me giggle as I’ve got it on Switch now.

I always wanted it on N64 so I could plug a second controller in and do the actual podracing driving thing with two sticks like Anakin 😭

My first console/game was a big old grey PlayStation (dat start up sound 🤤) with Croc and Crash Bandicoot 2 but I didn’t really get proper into video games till I got a Dreamcast.

The PlayStation was shared but the Dreamcast was mine to play when I wanted which is probably why i got so attached and into gaming because of it.

The start up sound still gives me shivers. Shame it bombed.
