They are still looking to replace some non free sounds they got from the original Tremulous project however.
I’ve been working on my own little FOSS game on the side and it’s been a hassle to even just find usable music.
Many hours of listening to random songs on https://open.audio to find music that fits the vibe and then I still have to double-check the license, for which there’s no definitive place to look that up.
Certainly made me understand why so many FOSS games in the genre (roguelike) just don’t bother with sound at all, but I’d kind of like mine to overflow with charm, so I definitely need music for that.
