I don’t think the title is misleading. There’s no lead developer, no new developer on the horizon, it’s likely to break as it routinely does with the next Youtube update, and this time it will be broken for good because the person who it got transferred to is not able to maintain it in that way.

So it’s likely to go away pretty soon (even ‘overnight’, as is said in the post) and when it does, it’s not coming back. Unless some new developer steps in, that is. And that hasn’t happened yet.
