Which is too bad. I feel like this and Google Reader were the turning points for Google as a company and their choice to be or not be evil.
Google Wave seemed interesting and promising, even though it wasn’t really clear what it was. But now, I think, it clearly anticipated things like Slack and Microsoft Teams. And google was ahead of them! But they abandoned it.
That was pretty funny a few years back when they officially removed the “don’t be evil” slogan. Being congruent with our corporate values was definitely said in a meeting sometime.
