Yes but you would need to do it in real time and cut the files up manually, unfortunately.

There is no way to “rip” or download the files directly but you could record a playlist with screen sharing software such as Geforce Experience or just plug the line out of your device into a recorder or virtually record it using software like Audacity.

TBH if you need to save money you are better off just using a free Spotify account and running a decent adblocker like Ublock Origin &/or Pi-Hole to block most of the ads (although I haven’t not had premium for a while so not sure how well that still works).

Otherwise start grabbing old CDs from charity shops, eBay and the like or just resort to piracy.

As someone that is “good with computers” I am always persuading people to let me take a look at their laptops and PCs rather than just buying new ones.

So often an SSD and a fresh Windows install makes the machine feel brand new.

I collect broken laptops, old PCs and such so I have spare RAM and the like for upgrades.

I also try to persuade people to buy refurbished business machines like Lenovo Thinkpads rather than buying new. They are cheap, built to last and really easy to service.

I encourage anyone that can fix a thing to do the same. I feel like we already have enough electronics in the world, the upgrade cycle is just out of control these days.

The crypto game is one hell of a gamble too so covers both markets.

The mining industry is an environmental disaster but I suppose this gets us a little closer to actually being able to buy hardware again, so… we win?

I am not exactly a poweruser of Linux (I have an ubuntu server and have played around with distros on various machines) but I am definitely a fan of this decision. My time with Manjaro + KDE on my desktop was defintely the best linux experience I ever had.

Can not wait to dump Android and move on :)
