gasp! Well I never!
I find sitting in a train or even a bus way more comfortable than sitting in a Sedan, and a lot less stressful for long trips, even if I’m not driving. I also almost never get motion sick on transit, even if I’m on my phone or laptop.
A truly autonomous (i.e. self-driving) cars could be liberating for many disabled people, who now cannot drive by themselves anyway and most mass transit is unfortunatelly still not accessible enough.
Of course, provided that they’d ever get affordable, which I do not foresee.
