How about they just repair the bookmarks API for mobile so I can use my own sync -.-

Yeah but it requires python (and node.js for the account server) and is unnecessarily complicated (I just need bookmark sync) so I just use my own plugin for the sake of my sanity. Also about:config is disabled in the official release.

about:config is enabled in Fennec F-Droid. https://gitlab.com/relan/fennecbuild/-/blob/master/prebuild.sh#L98
I haven’t been using a proper phone in a while because mine is currently broken, just the screen. But so far it’s been a little irritating that everything expects everyone to have a smartphone.
