It’s grassy, but fatty… quite a strange flavour profile. Has anyone ever sprinkled brown sugar over half an avo and just gone to town? It works sweet as well!

So, what does avocado taste like to you?

What you said is how I’ve thought of it too. Fatty grass. Which does not sound good haha. I recommend splitting, pitting, and filling the holes with cottage cheese. A little black pepper on top too.

It took me a long time to warm up to avocado. My biggest complaint was that it had very little flavor. I love it now, but I still think it’s quite subtle. It’s more a creamy vehicle for other flavors than anything.

Avocado by itself is actually a bit bland, in my opinion. You need to put salt on it to really pull out the deliciousness! You can never go bad with putting lime on avocado, either, and don’t don’t even get me started on nutritional yeast mmm.

It’s a lot like beans with a hint of cucumber

We all agree its fatty and creamy, a little sweet at times.

I like a sprinkle of black truffle powder ($14 on Amazon)
