    This is a pretty bad decision by microsoft and probably going to help them spy on windows users

    Wait so is Windows 11 being pushed through the regular updates channel or is it a separate install?

    Either way, great time to go Linux.

        So what’s the point of calling it Windows 11 if you don’t even have a choice of whether you want to “upgrade” to it?

    Also it’s pretty interesting Windows 11 will require UEFI compatibility… A lot of people who run older hardware will either stay on w10 or switch to Linux imo

    This isn’t a new development, unfortunately. Windows Home and Professional are by far the worst versions of Windows 10 on the market anyway. The Enterprise editions are much cleaner and aren’t as fussy about local accounts. I hope this will also be the case with 11.
