Can’t get into the credits to upload. Don’t want to figure it out. I abandoned my account and have no desire to go back. I have zero interest in crypto.
I guess it’s a “which came first…” scenario. I can’t upload videos now, so I have no reason to revisit and watch other people’s videos. Also, to earn credits I have to log in. Maybe I don’t want people collecting personal info on what I watch or do online? Maybe I only want to watch videos when I’m logged out? I have no use for it. I’d rather go read a book and not watch videos.
I thought so too, but maybe it’s just uncensored. I thought archive.org was alt-right even, but it’s just that anyone can post. Even 4chan isn’t actually alt-right. It is for us I think to improve the content of those platforms.
I just saw a bunch of anti “cancel culture” and other alt-right talking points on the front page. I usually assume when I see a hard free speech description that it’s very right.
never found such thing, just either gaming channels or tech, plus I do believe the clients and website blocks such content, even tho its on the blockchain still
Its more complicated than that. PeerTube is peer to peer, this uses crypto base protocol, which makes the video easier to load. But yes, peertube and lbry/odysee are similar. If you want to know more here is the wiki.
You are not logged in. However you can subscribe from another Fediverse account, for example Lemmy or Mastodon. To do this, paste the following into the search field of your instance: !odysee@lemmy.ml
Odysee, a video website built by LBRY Inc. using their LBRY protocol, entered beta in September 2020 and officially launched that December.

From the description, it’s like an alt-right peer-tube, right?

I think they mean that it has mostly alt right content.

Not that I’ve noticed but I subscribe mostly to technology channels and produce the same. Seemed pretty balanced to me.
