UK was already in a precarious situation due to Brexit, then the pandemic hit, and then UK decided to start an economic war with Russia. At this point it’s difficult to see how UK can recover economically from the death spiral. High energy costs are the underlying problem that’s destroying the economy. With energy costs having jumped to incredible amounts, a lot of businesses stopped being viable, and the public is cutting spending on top of that. The only near term solution there is to normalize relations with Russia which is politically impossible.
Well they could try to colonize someone else
The UK has been properly f’ed for a long time.
And so much of it was purely self-inflicted with Brexit.
