so i came across another reddit clone on GitLab but i don’t think this one is federated there are currently 2 sites that use it as far as i know im probably use it for my self hosted site or just keep using that closed sourced forum script i paid $32 for

    Tried running it on my local machine, works well. Not federated and AFAIK no plans. Seems it’s being developed by one person and not sure if they have any big future plans. The UI is nice, even nicer than Lemmy in some aspects, but anyway it’s not a modern SPA. I really like the idea of having a wiki. Feature-wise, except the wiki thing, Lemmy is already ahead of it.

      i think it would be a good idea to add the wiki as a plugin or any other extra stuff like gopher support or xmpp integration so that way every instance has some thing different

        IMO wiki is not essential functionality, there are tons of other things need to be implemented, such as federation, private communities and moderation.
