EU Foreign Policy chief Josep Borrell believes Tuesday’s damage to the Nord Stream pipelines was deliberate sabotage, and has warned it will be met with a “robust” response.

Reports emerged on Tuesday of explosions from under the Baltic Sea with unusual leaks discovered on the Nord Stream 1 & 2 pipelines.

Danish PM Mette Fredriksen said that authorities insist it was a deliberate act, but added that there was “no information indicating who could be behind it,” despite Polish MEP Radoslaw Sikorski insinuating on Twitter that the US was responsible.

Retaliation at whom? And how? We know who they’re going to blame, but even if they miraculously come to the conclusion that USA did it - what exactly are they going to do?

So my guess is - they will actively ingnore any evidence to the contrary and blame Russia. And then - idk what. They’re already banning us from entry and send weapons to Ukraine. What’s next? Open war?

They’re already blaming Russia for the energy crisis. Come winter, when people start freezing, they’ll blame Russia even more and I think that’s how the next world war is gonna get started. As bloodthirsty as they are about death in ukraine, it’ll be exponentially higher at seeing death in western europe.

Ayup. For some reason people expect Europeans to give up or turn upon their governments when the cold hits. But that’s not what consent has been shaped for
