So the usps filed a patent to add blockchain technologies to mail-in voting to prevent double voting and etc security. What are your guys thoughts on this? Me personally I see mixed results.

    I mean, since when is double-voting a problem? You just print out a list of all people eligible for voting and when you open a voting letter, you count it and tick off that person from the list. This is the same procedure as in-person voting.

    So, if they are trying to solve something, I’m really not sure what. Trump’s claims that mail-in ballots would generally be more fraudulent is to my knowledge also without any backing and in his interest.

    Considering marriages are done through blockchain in some states, it clearly shows that something like mail in voting could also be achieved this way.

    In some ways marriage is a more critical issue, since you could easily lose over half of your net worth from which you just might not recover.

    Voting is a serious issue, but you’re not going to lose half of your belongings if it somehow was 100% fraudulent.
