USPS Suggests Blockchain System For Mail-In Voting, Experts Say It Won't Work

The USPS has filed for a patent to used a blockchain-based system for U.S. elections. However, experts say such a system will not work now or even in the future.

So the usps filed a patent to add blockchain technologies to mail-in voting to prevent double voting and etc security. What are your guys thoughts on this? Me personally I see mixed results.

    I mean, since when is double-voting a problem? You just print out a list of all people eligible for voting and when you open a voting letter, you count it and tick off that person from the list. This is the same procedure as in-person voting.

    So, if they are trying to solve something, I’m really not sure what. Trump’s claims that mail-in ballots would generally be more fraudulent is to my knowledge also without any backing and in his interest.
