The mod is nowhere to be seen and I had to create c/Bharat just to fill the void.

EDIT : It is a deleted community. Is there way to recover it?

Out of 4 mods of !India, 2 (@rish@lemmy.ml and @mukt@lemmy.ml ) are confirmed right wingers who usually share articles from the vile propaganda website OpIndia spreading Hindutva ideology (aka Hindu nationalism) while 1 (@_azadak@lemmy.ml ) is most probably leftist. Can’t say anything about the last one.

Being a secular Indian Hindu, I feel sorry for !india@lemmy.ml

rish and mukt both look absent, but yes we need some non-hindutva mods there.

I know u/_azadak is active in r/Islam but not active here. He’ll come back hopefully. Sorry I hadn’t logged in for years.

I am not absent, for one, and my political inclinations weren’t exactly a secret at any time.

Okay done, ur a mod there now. A megathread is just when a community removes all related posts, and puts all the articles / related info in the body of the megathread, and usually stickies it. All those are possible currently.
