By Tyler Lyons On My Life Before Joining the Party Long before the onset of the COVID pandemic, I was struggling with my political identity. I had been disillusioned with…
For the most part, PCUSA has Chris Helali, a serial abuser and embezzler of IWW funds who fought for the neo-Nazis and U.S.-backed Rojava/YPG.
They have continuously attacked me and others on places like Reddit, Twitter, Discord, etc. Please, consider that many PCUSA members have left for our organization.
If PCUSA would encouraging its members to attack the CPUSA, that would be great. But they do not and so I will give the other side of the story.
I was a member of PCUSA and a semi high-ranking member for awhile and I can confirm that many members are highly immature both ideologically (see their affinity for “red patriotism”) and behaviorally. Ultimately I left because PCUSA is a highly disfunctional group of people who do little to no IRL work and frequently violate DemCent on the national level, which to me is an unacceptable practice for a supposedly Leninist organization
PCUSA is a strictly anti-revisionist, Marxist-Leninist party. PCUSA was formed by members of the old CPUSA who were abandoned by the party for their support continued of the Soviet Union after it’s collapse.
CPUSA has many great comrades in it today, but unfortunately the Party itself and its leadership is very liberal in nature. They will tell you to vote democrat and join the local democrat party chapter. Here is an Article by the leader of CPUSA to give you an idea of our concerns:
CPUSA waters-down Communism to the point where it is only Communist as a desperate defense from the ruling class. PCUSA, however, refuses to capitulate. We are not afraid of our history as Communists, we are the true heirs of the Communist Movement. This is why, even as a young party, we are already recognized by 44 Communist Parties internationally as the American Vanguard.
Oh okay, I’m glad. Because I remember hearing about the CPUSA being officially anti stalin and anti mao. Thanks for making the distinction between the two.
I see. I’m currently a tryout for the PSL, and I just subscribe to their take on Stalin and Mao of upholding them and critically taking the works of them and building upon it.
I certainly do understand the function of not doing so to appeal to a more common, if you will, base of people (though I don’t personally agree with it).
Of course, I’m really glad with the way Joe Sims is taking things in. Unfortunately, PCUSA keeps passing around something from 2008 that was in jest. Honestly, it sucks because that’s the impression given, but that’s not the Program of the party and that’s not what Joe Sims says nowadays. Hell, he supports the dictatorship of the proletariat.
is there a difference between the PCUSA and CPUSA?
You can DM me about it.

We are not officially anti-Stalin and anti-Mao, we simply don’t invoke them.

PSL is great. I couldn’t finish my candidate work with them due to personal reasons. They are a great org though
I agree. CPUSA has worked with them.
That’s cool. I understand. There are certain events coming up on CPUSA that may change that approach, but it depends on what the focus currently is.
I hope there are fruitful results from those events! A united front is a plus for the proletariat, comrade.
