Because “Sharing economy” is just a buzzword to sound nice. The companies behind them couldn’t care less about “sharing” in the libre software/creative commons sense. Uber/Lift, for example, are just taxi companies that don’t want to buy cars themselves or pay their employees proper wages. That’s all there is to them.
