Creeps exist everywhere, but taking advantage of people escaping a conflict zone like this (and like women and children in Afghanistan) deserve triple punishment.

What do people think happens during wars? Since time immemorial, women and children have always suffered from exploitation, rape, murder, starvation, and use as cannon fodder. Look in any “holy” books where women and young girls are constantly treated as spoils of war. This suffering needs to be remembered the next time people hear a politician banging the drums of war and wagging the dog.

Ukraine was already a shithole that was near the top of the pile for sex trafficking before any of this happened, thanks to their corrupt dogshit government. Big surprise the same government is full of nazis, right?

This has nothing to do with Ukraine’s government. It’s happening in countries that Ukrainian refugees are fleeing to. While many people are happy to be a host out of charity, others are using the opportunity to victimize women again. Such sexual exploitation is frequently the case in war and refugee crises, so sadly it is no surprise that Russia’s war of aggression is producing the same result.

It’s mixed responsibility. It’s ultimately mostly the fault of the people trying to exploit them. At the same time, the instigating event was Russia waging war on Ukraine. It’s the same idea as putting some of the blame for the civilian casualties due to insurgent activity on the United States for that invasion. The country that put these women in a vulnerable position is partially at fault.

The US was not responsible for 2014. It was somewhat involved in trying to get the government working again in the aftermath, but what happened was driven by Ukrainians.

I take it you’re referencing that leaked call that totally doesn’t say anything about a coup except by an extraordinarily bad faith reading of it?
