There’s something stirring in the Soloman islands too - Its recently reported that replica firearms were imported in secret on a logging ship for training the police there.
I think it is unavoidable. China is the most powerful country on earth, similar to how USA was in the 1910s. We should expect more Chinese involvement in world affairs, similar to how USA emerged to become dominant power in the first half of the 20th century.
