Coding. It seems so fascinating and useful, but it’s so overwhelming and hard to know where to start if I don’t have a particular goal in mind
In the same boat. Always wanted to learn beyond the if and for stuff. Have recently tried watching the freeCodecamp.org yt channel, but it’s not really a main focus.
Automotive maintenance. I like working on cars, but I really can’t bring myself to learn how to fix everything. I just do the simple stuff like tires and air filters
This one resonates with me. I don’t necessarily love working on cars but I love the feeling of being able to fix/replace something on my own. That said, I kind of can’t be bothered to learn how to do more than just air filters
Home improvement projects. I love watching the process of a nice DIY bathroom renovation but I will hire professionals before I dive in myself.
I wish I could recognize different kinds of trees qams common plants while I’m on a walk
Cooking
Lately I try to repair things. I dabbled in electronics but can’t find the will to learn all the electricity stuff to really find what’s wrong on a board. I just follow guides for similar problems.
Photography. I feel like I’ll get around to it one day but I feel like I already spend too much time and money on my other hobbies I just don’t want to open that can of worms yet.
Chess. I know the rules but I’m no good at winning. Would be nice, though, but I just can’t bring myself to invest any time in learning how to play better/more strategically
