- 1 egg over easy
- a small portion of a salty, fatty protein
- a small portion of a carb/starch
- a cup of hot black coffee
It’s all of the heavy breakfast foods I love, but an amount that doesn’t make me want to take an immediate nap. Oof, now my tummy is grumbling.
Sounds good but over hard for me.
What about second breakfast?
Waffle House crispy hash browns with everything on them except the gravy, or fried spam over rice with two over easy eggs on top with hot sauce.
I recently was introduced to a chaffle, and I must say, a chaffle with a slice of bacon and an egg over easy makes a delightful breakfast. I’ll put it this way, lots of protein and you’ll be full for a while.
Mee siam (damn spicy one) and a kopi o konsong ping.
I’m from the US but I lived for a time in Southeast Asia and discovered the breakfast I could eat for the rest of my life,
- Hot bone broth noodle soup with veggies
- thinly sliced beef
- iced cold sweet coffee
It does depend on the climate though, imho.
