Yeah, I guess you must have watched it when you were young to really get into it. Watched it a couple of years ago for the first time, because it is such a classic, and was so underwhelmed and bored.
100% a kids movie. I was born in '89 but somehow missed watching it as a kid. Saw it when I was in my mid-20s and that’s what my takeaway was. Its nostalgic for people who saw it as kids 20-30 years ago with a few oddballs thrown in.

Yeah I was in my 30s when I saw it first. It was fine and I can see how I would have liked it as a kid.
