I think what reddit didn’t account for is that when sync, etc. shut down, I didn’t seek alternatives ways of looking at reddit. I sought reddits alternative.

I’m with ya. When things first started looking bleak I was open to the idea of still using reddit on my laptop or whatever. But after everything else (restoring deleted content without permission, blackmailing and removing mods, etc) reddit is going to be a place I visit only if I need to. No more mindless scrolling.
