Hello there iam just ask for question do you recommended me some good Lemmy app alternatives on Android or ios
I’ve been using Jerboa for a few days, seems good so far. Lean and functional
I’m honestly pretty happy with the browser version. As a longtime old.reddit + RES / RiF user it alredy feels like home.
lemmy is surely behind on app development. ios has only mlem which is in alpha state on test flight (not even on the store). the path is good but it’s still missing a lot of basic functions.
To my knowledge at this moment we only have one app for android and one for iOS. You can see them both in here: https://join-lemmy.org/apps
Memmy for iOS and Android has just launched. I’m posting from it right now.

EDIT: Extra note on this because it’s been a topic of conversation. Memmy supports iOS 15 (Mlem is 16> only with no plans to go lower).
Jerboa is the official Android app:
Thanks for linking this! I like the Apollo style theme, and so far it’s much more stable than Mlem.
Jerboa on Android. lemur or whatever its name felt awful. Jerboa feels better than desktop in the ease of blocking communities.
Currently on IOS the only lemmy app is Mlem and on android the only non-deprecated lemmy app is Jerboa
I tried Jerboa but there didn’t seem to be any mod tools in it, so I’ve been using the mobile web version instead. Seems fine.
Just like Reddit clients, we need more app from different developers catering for different needs, styles and focuses.
It would be great if existing Reddit clients developers retrofit their clients to work with Lemmy / ActivityPub / Fediverse.
As @merlin@lemm.ee (I don’t really know how to tag people lol) said, as of now there are only Jerboa on Android and mlem on IOS.
I remember reading that some reddit third party app developer said they will start adapting their app for Lemmy
