It’s premature to say this is Linux’s time in the sun. The problems that prevent “Linux” (which is to say the Unix-alike kernel+userspace) from getting widespread adoption still exist and will interfere here.
I suspect we’re more going to see a Chinese homegrown OS, possibly based on the Linux kernel, but not based on the GNU/et al userspace, more along the lines of HarmonyOS than, say, Debian or Fedora or whatnot.
