Just had the second interview with the union. I’m weirdly neutral about the interview and the job. Very extensive second interview with lots of discussion about me as a person and a roleplay exercise, took like two hours in total lol.

We’ll see. After the first interview I didn’t know what to think either and they did send me to today’s expensive HR agency for another interview, so maybe it went good for them after all.

50 riot cops just evicted a 60 year old guy that couldn’t pay rent in rome, that’s capitalism for you

Edit: it was actually in bologna, one of the most communist cities in Italy, and yet shit like this happens, some militants got injured too… Seems like they’re occupying an house in solidarity with the man

Yeah… It was state subsidized housing too, the fact that a worker in a moderately rich industrial city (with great food) like bologna can’t even afford that speaks volumes to the conditions we are in right now, state subsidized housing in capitalism is just a way to have worker ants to work your machines till they die

A couple of weeks ago I had this meeting on poverty with lots of different people involved in social work and the government. The discussion got heated at some point and the government was asked how it is possible that big energy companies have put us in this horrible situation. The answer was: ‘free market, can’t do anything about it’.

The answer has been bugging me ever since. It’s the FUCKING GOVERNMENT saying this as if they are some helpless small org. But it’s a classic example of the mindset of the people in control.

God that’s embarrassing. I’m guessing the fact that the Ukraine spent 8 years shelling Donbas or every second soldier having a black sun tattoo is considered a false narrative perpetuated by Russian state propaganda.

I replanted some plants and their baby offspring into new pots and ground yesterday and I hope they survive.

I’ve got some Pilea plants that produced new stems which I repotted. The Pilea truly is an invincible plant. If there ever were a nuclear fallout, it would survive together with the roaches it seems.

Did you use any rooting powder? I got a small pot last week, but haven’t tried using it yet.

No I just used earth that has extra nutrients in it. I guess extra stuff won’t hurt the plant, though. Especially with more fragile plants.

This tweet is just blatant false information which is provably false if you read about Chinese socialism.

        Lmao:

For note, i did notice quite some people larping as Philippine Maoists on various reddit subs and they are always coming with superhot takes like “Government is only a step from falling to our millions strenghts army and 90% support among the people, the only thing keeping them alive is Chinese help”

Or at least, i hope those are westerners larping because if those are real then holy shit.

dear god lol I saw that and I’ve seen similar with NPA twitter larpers being outed as amerikan Red Guards. It’s so cringe. Reminds me somewhat of when u/frgskncht tried to convince people on reddit that he had something worthwhile to say about communism in the Philippines (he was involved somehow or something) and it turned out he was a German living in Germany.

I am interested in knowing what the CPP and NPA are actually doing - do they have control over some land? Are they an inert lumpen party like the Shining Path has become? All seems to depend on who you ask, but none of them seem to really know the answer.

Just saw two Twitter liberals arguing that there is literally no alternative to WW3 with China. Both of them had Ukraine flags in their names, so it’s good to know the brainrot is equally suicidal on both sides of the fence.

My org (along with other, individual, protests) just won a big one today, we won a 660mln euros investment into affordable housing for college students in major university cities, the decision isn’t final yet so the struggle continues, but in the end only struggle pays off!

Edit: aaaand they reverted it, curiously right after that leech zelensky asked for more money, also another big eviction today, militants got injured

And it got promptly reverted because “it wasn’t the right time” A single room in Milan can cost you 800€ a month, with average salaries for young people of about 1000/1200 a month, here in Rome it’s a bit better but still, about 600 a month. Overall, fuck the bourgeois Italian “republic” and it’s muddening of the word “republic”

Currently feeling the freedom of a 10% rent increase by a poc landlord because of “inflation, interest rates and rental demand”; how progressive.
