      What makes you say that, I wonder because Chrome OS normally comes only on preinstalled devices. Because of that I guess… if so, there are unofficial ways to install it…

      Not sure that Chrome OS disqualifies as Linux distro, the only thing I maybe can complain about is that it uses a proprietary license, but given the fact that it comes only on preinstalled devices this hardly comes as a surprise. Google is known to have high security standards. Sure, the Linux community dislike Google in general but Google sponsors a lot and helps a lot in the community I think.
